Whew, finally a chance to post!
I finished the sock for my HSS pal a couple weeks ago -- I love how it came out! And although I was stressed that I couldn't finish one for myself first (in case I made any mistakes, etc), it's actually better that I didn't -- because now I can see what mods I want to make to my own pair. More about that later, though - here's the pic of the one I finished in STR Metamorphic:

Thanks! It was kinda hard to part with them, but I figure I have my own pair (in colors that are even more "me"), and I had the joy of working with the yarn & figuring out the pattern. :) Plus I know for sure now that I want to make some mods to the leg -- the same ones that Bockstark made (thanks for the link! ;)).
I'm still waiting & stalking her blog to see when she gets them, lol.

I love STR Metamorphic and it looks beautiful in your pal's socks. I can see why you'd be loathe to part with them.
