I finally finished my 2 back "orders" and have gotten to work on my firestarter. I'm going to do a single one for my Harvest Sock Swap pal, then move on to one for myself. I'm leaning towards Metamorphic STR for me, but I don't have the energy to wind it right now, so it's full steam ahead with my pal's. Well...full steam ahead as soon as I finish my swatching. Those are 0's, so I need to see if they will work. I have some 1's as well, but I don't have any 2's (of course, since I *just* ordered these, but didn't get any twos, not realizing I'd need them!).
What's everyone else knitting on?

i am knitting on 2.5 mm circs, addis, as usual. i have 3 of these circs so i can have 3 socks going at the same time. i didn't even use the 3 mm for the calf shaping as called for in the pattern, they fit great without it. i end up using 2.5 mm circs for all my fingering weight sock yarns (including wollmeise, socks that rock lightweight, german fingering weight sock yarn, etc), i guess i'm just used to the gauge and such on them.
Looking great - your Harvest Pal is Luck-Y! I may be knitting mine for a swap as well - but I only have a toe so far, I need to get moving!
What color of XXL are you using? Is it 145 or 146? I just ordered some 145 for these the other day. I looove orange. :)
mine is 146; it's a bit more red than the pic -- i LOVE the color changes, but not so much the fuzziness...i'm swatching on the 1's now & like it better.
