Update

I have finished the neighbor's shawl and started the firestarter. So far I have pulled the toe out 5 times. I am beginning to wonder if this is the sock for me. I am going back to it again. Did anyone else have all this trouble? Maybe the senior dementia is acting up.

had to size down my needles - was way to loose for the toe.
Just working up the wrapped stitches to get ready for the new stuff!!

i did a magic cast on see link here, not the provisional cast on with short rows as the pattern states. if you have done toe up socks before, just pick what works for you for a toe and work up to 60 stitches then start the chart in the pattern.
