one done!
I cast off my first Firestarter today - love it. I feel like it could have been a teeny tiny bit more roomy, my first sock ever tried on anything less than a #2, but the #2 seemed a bit large - so I am so pleased. I love the cables and the "action" gusset! I have a tiny hole above the guseet - kind of like the dreaded hole when picking up stitches on the top down model. Any helpful hints for that? I am not ripping out a stitch, because I am so in love, but maybe I could avoid this next time?
I just ordered Yarnissima's Fratello kit today - more Wollmeise, more wonderful gusset architecture. I am so weak.

Gorgeous!
I thought the kits weren't coming out til next week. I better get over there quick!!!!
gorgeous!! and you are a terrible enabler... i want that pattern! (i'm also in love digetessa, but it looks like that one might be a while). I swear this woman is in my head; she's designing cables that do awesome things (which I keep attempting & failing) and with the coolest use of ribbing & interesting gussets...
Lovely blue!
I don't remember getting a whole at the end of my gusset, but I assumed that the crossing stitches and my thicker yarn alleviated that issue.
Thank you so much for letting us know that the Fratello kit is now available. Off to order mine!
Great job!
Gorgeous!! You've really been a knitting machine lately.
How much is her new pattern in US currency?
